I have been dancing and dressing up for Halloween since I was a kid, and every year I add to my collection. It is so much fun, and I enjoy every minute of it. Through the years I have made lots of costumes for African dances, Modern dances, and Belly dances, so I have a large selection of what I call tapas, which are lengths of material very similar to sarongs. They can be used for many things. Draped over your regular curtains, or window blinds, they can transform your everyday living room into a lover’s den, or a goddess’ boudoir. Imagine coming home from work, and there on the front door is a red heart with a message written in the centre of it. The message tells you to come inside where sitting on a table in front of the door is your favourite drink, along with the second clue. The next clue leads you to the closet where you are asked to hang up your coat. The clue you find in the closet asks you to go to the bathroom where a hot steaming bath awaits you. There are candles all lit up and the smell of incense teases your nostrils. The next clue tells you to get undressed and slip into the scented bath. Ring the bell that is sitting on the ledge when you have had time to relax and your maidservant will come and bathe you. When she is finished she will dress you in a robe, or wrap a warm towel around you, give you the next clue and then disappear. Or she could lead you to the bedroom where the bed is covered with towels and heated massage oil awaits.
If you did not exactly have a massage in mind, then the clues could lead him to the bedroom where you have already laid out a pair of silk pyjamas, or boxer shorts, or a silk thong for that matter. Design a Feast of Finger Food
Cover the coffee table with an exotic tablecloth and set it up for a feast. Place candles, fruits and veggies, and finger foods in fancy dishes.
Some suggestions might be:

- Miniature Quiche
- Mozzarella Sticks
- Egg Rolls
- Grapes
- Veggies with Dip
- Sliced Apples
- Sliced Bananas-or leave them whole and eat them or feed them suggestively.

Dipping fruits and veggies lend a playful atmosphere, and do not be surprised if you find yourself placing a mound of whipped cream on your belly and using it as a dish for dipping. When you have dipped enough fruit and veggies, clean up the rest with your tongue. But don’t stop there. Continue down to tease and taste the rest of whatever delights may have sprung up in the meantime.
Have his favourite drink on ice and a special glass nearby. You want to make sure that once you get started that you have everything on hand, and close by, so you will not be interrupted. Besides keeping the drinks cold, ice is a great way to cool things down a bit while heating them at the same time.
Aura of Atmosphere
Decorate the table with some glass sex toys so they stand upright. That way they are within reach should you choose to start playing with them.
You could also provide some erotic sweets such as a birthday cake shaped like some breasts. I have also seen erotic chocolates shaped like various body parts.
Candles & Insence
Light plenty of candles and display them on the coffee table, kitchen counters, dining room table, bathroom, and throughout the house. Place them anywhere you need to light up and transform the area from everyday living to a night of seduction.
If you, or your partner, are one of those people who likes to be able to see everything, and somehow candlelight isn’t enough, I suggest purchasing some different coloured light bulbs to replace one of the regular bulbs in a light fixture. Red works are great. It creates a different kind of light and energy, and your man will be sure to know that he is getting the “red light special.”
Light some incense while you are at it. My favourite is Nag Champa. It has a wonderful aroma and is used in the temples of India. You can find it in most import stores or online here. I have some incense holders in various places throughout the apartment, but I also stick the end of a lit stick of incense into the dirt of my potted houseplants. Just make sure that the burning part does not touch the plant.
Erotic Art
You can also change up the atmosphere by hanging erotic pictures, or by displaying them on the coffee table, or dresser. I have found some wonderful ones on the internet from my imagination. I have some that I have framed and hung on my bedroom walls. I also have some that I bring out for special occasions that are a bit more suggestive. They can be displayed behind some candles on the bathroom counter, or placed beside a drink in the kitchen.
Privacy
My bedroom has always been a private place for me. I do not invite just anyone into my bedroom, nor do I allow just anyone to enter. I think of it as my sacred space, and so I do not have a desk for my computer, nor do I even have a TV set up there either. My bedroom is mainly used for sleep, rest, and making love. That way, I can keep seductive energy flowing through my sacred space.
Music
Select your favourite music to dance to, and if you have a CD burner, you make your tape or CD with all of your favourite music, and in just the right order. That way you will have a little more control on setting the right mood for your seduction. I have made a note of how long each song lasts and choreographed the music to my plans. It is so much fun that way. You can imagine that during Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” you are giving your partner an erotic bath, or a massage. Or if you plan on a Middle Eastern theme, play some belly dance music to get you both in the mood and transport you to another place. It also makes it easier to practice so you have some kind of an idea of what to do next.
Use Your Senses
Collect different kinds of materials such as silk stockings, velvet ropes, leather whips, rubber gloves, feather boas, rose petals, peacock feathers, or whatever gives a different kind of touchy-feely sensation. You can use these to test his senses while he is blindfolded. It is amazing how our body compensates for the loss of one sense by heightening the power and responsiveness of our other senses.
It took me a little while before I felt that I could share some of it with my partner. I was a little self-conscious at first. I did not want him to laugh at me, or think that I wasn’t as hot a dancer as he had maybe seen before. So guys, if your partner does get up her self-confidence and decide to treat you to a night of romance, do not dare to think about laughing at her.
