Rear Entry Sex Positions

Doggy Style Pussy Sex Positions

If you aren't sure what rear entry sex is, these pictures sum it all up. It's regular vaginal intercourse where the man enters his partner from behind. It's not like anal sex, which is sex where the man penetrates his partner's anus rather than her vagina.

But many women find it exciting to be so sexual, revelling in the sheer sexuality of the position.

Indeed, it's an all-time favourite for men, combining the sight of his partner's buttocks, the ability to thrust hard and deep, and the sheer power of the sexual.

Rear entry is one of the different sexual positions that appeal to our most primal instincts - and of course, it is that powerful, arousing stimulation that makes men tend to ejaculate quickly when they throw themselves into rear entry sex!

After all, the buttocks of both sexes are very arousing and sexy - they are a primary sexual signal, and it can be very arousing to have them so available to see, touch, stroke, squeeze or pat during lovemaking.

Some couples like to engage in firmer stimulation, spanking or slapping each other gently or more firmly. Unfortunately, the woman's clitoris tends to be left out of the action in this position; it needs attention from the man or the woman to get full enjoyment.

It's not true that rear-entry sexual positions mean a woman has to be passive and the man dominant. Indeed, a woman can actively participate in a couple's lovemaking. She can thrust her hips back and forth so her vagina glides along her man's penile shaft, or she can meet his rhythm as he thrusts.

Alternatively, he can stand still while she thrusts! For a woman with confidence and high sexual energy, lovemaking in the rear entry position can be an excellent way to express her sexual power. This makes rear entry sex a different proposition to the almost-expected passivity of the woman in man on top, say!

Those positions that a man finds very arousing will likely make him ejaculate quickly, while those he finds less so may give him greater staying power. Generally, it is hard to recommend any particular position for men with delayed ejaculation - which means an unduly long delay in reaching climax.

On another page of this site, I mentioned the best way to protect yourself against infections from your sexual partner - quickly done by using condoms, which can ensure safe sex. But yeast infections are more tricky - they may occur despite precautions because they are not strictly sexually transmitted infections.

The great thing about rear entry lovemaking is that it offers many slight variations of position, all of which change the angle of the penis in the vagina and thereby produce almost endless variations of sensation for both partners.

That's especially true for the woman, whose G-spot may be stimulated strongly when her man thrusts into her vagina from behind.

A lot depends on the curve and angle of his penis, but even men with a smaller penis will find that they stand a greater chance of giving their partner powerful stimulation in this sexual position.

Of course, it can also be the case that a woman's G-spot receives too much friction from her partner's penis in this position - a little more lubrication may help if that's the case, or more gentle thrusting, or a slight change in the angle of entry.

It's often said that rear-entry sexual techniques are suitable for a woman who is potentially orgasmic during intercourse because her man's penis can stimulate her G-spot very effectively. But many men are so excited that they ejaculate too quickly - long before their partner can fully enjoy the experience.

So, if you're a man, and your ejaculatory control isn't quite as good as it might be, you can slow down your pelvic thrusts as you approach the point of no return (that's the point where you know you're going to ejaculate and nothing will stop you doing so) until your arousal has dropped somewhat. You can even withdraw to "cool off" if a pause in your lovemaking helps you last longer.

Here are some different sexual positions, all based on the primary rear entry position. As we said, each position (and any other variations you can think of!) will provide you with a different physical experience. With some experimentation and alignment adjustment, you'll soon find which ones you enjoy the most.

Finally, rear entry is a pretty good position for sex during pregnancy if the woman props herself up on a pile of pillows or cushions under her chest.

If the man is lying face down on top of the woman, the directions of the penis and vagina do not coincide. In the abdominal position of the woman, the vagina slopes obliquely upwards from the outside to the cervix internally. In contrast, in the similar male position, the penis slopes obliquely from above at the base downwards to the tip.

This direction difference is so significant that coitus is impossible if it is not artificially rectified; otherwise, effective penetration is out of the question, and the male organ misses its aim and slips out during the backward motion of the man's hips.

It is generally possible to avoid this in practice if the woman increases her pelvic angle as much as possible by decreasing the upward direction of the vaginal passage and elevating the vulva.

As a rule, this is sufficient to prevent the penis from slipping out and to enable deep penetration. The same accident is made less likely if the woman keeps her thighs closed or presses them together, thus affording additional stimulus by friction.

The woman's position can be assisted if a small pillow is placed under her pelvis (not beneath the abdomen, which would alter the angle and spoil the desired result). The ventral position in successful coitus is only possible for slim, lean people; ample development of the woman and any appreciable corpulence in the man can render it impossible.

These are not necessarily great or very different sexual techniques for the woman, though they can be exciting for the man. Her clitoris is not very accessible, and she is not likely to reach orgasm; she feels her partner's weight rather more than in other positions, and the prospects of successful conception by the entrance of spermatozoa into the uterus are less here than in other positions since the penis does not reach far enough into the vagina to shoot semen into the mouth of the uterus or against the vaginal vault. The seminal fluid trickles out and away at once.

There are comparatively few advantages for the man, although it's interesting to compare this position with the man on top (face to face, woman n her back). But that's about all we have to say on the subject.....

And, by the way, this might be a very good sexual position for those who suffer from abdominal complaints like acid reflux or hiatal hernia, as it does not put much pressure on the abdomen....   - why not check it out now?

The man enters from the rear while the couple lies on their sides facing the same direction.

Intercourse in this position can certainly be, for both partners, the least exhausting of any; the stimulation can be modified to the precise degree necessary for orgasm and enjoyment; the penis can be inserted just as far as desired; and there is no weight or pressure of bodies on each other.

In practice, both partners generally lie on their left sides, so the man has his right hand and arm free to embrace and clasp his partner, stroke, and caress her.

Convenient and easy lovemaking can only occur if the two bodies are not parallel. The difference in the angles and slopes of the genitals can only be modified to allow penetration when the trunks diverge.

Increasing the female pelvis's angle and decreasing the male pelvis's angle facilitates the approach and permits adequate penetration. So the woman should lie with legs somewhat flexed at the hips, and bending forward, the man at full-length. By modifying this sexual position by altering the angle of the two pelvises, it will be possible to vary the degree of penetration in precisely the way you want.

Stimulation for the woman is localized in the lower rim of her vaginal opening and anterior vaginal wall. But the friction of her partner's thrusts is more against the posterior rim of the introitus and less against the anterior vaginal wall, which is less effective.

We may almost say that the woman receives the most significant friction and stimulus, where it has the most minor effect. And, as her clitoris has no contact with her partner's organ, the stimulation afforded the woman is minimal unless he penetrates deeply.

Of course, deep penetration may make a man ejaculate more quickly.

is an art that can be learned.

Increasing her pleasure can be done in three ways; either by moving both your body and pelvises, thus permitting deeper penetration of the vagina, which increases the area stimulated and brings the clitoris into touch with the under-surface of the penis; or by more vigorous friction and thrusting; and thirdly by stimulation of the clitoris with hand and finger as you make love.

This position is the least exhausting method of intercourse for the man, too.

One might think that coitus with his partner astride on top would be less exhausting, as he has not exerted himself or moved at all in this attitude. Still, he cannot control the intensity of the stimulation, which is much greater than in the comparatively tranquil "lying on your sides" method. This is not a position recommended for men who can't cum during intercourse, but it is helpful for men who tend to come too quickly.

Classic rear-entry sex

This is where the woman kneels while her body from trunk to thighs is inclined more or less acutely. Her body can be stretched horizontally, supporting itself on hands and arms or a couch or chair of appropriate height.

A variation is also possible in which the woman's body can slope downwards from the pelvis to head, with shoulders and elbows resting on a low couch or chair, forming an angle to her upright thighs and legs. The man can kneel behind a kneeling woman or stand behind her as she kneels against the bed.

He can hold his body almost vertically or bend over so far that he rests upon the woman's almost horizontal back and shoulders. If he leans forward to embrace her like this, his penis and her vagina are more or less parallel to one another. Still, in this position, the slight curves of both male and female genitals do not necessarily correspond or "fit".

(By the way, there is no substantial difference between the abovementioned variations and the sexual position in which the woman stands on her feet and bends her body as far forward as possible from the hips.)

When the man holds himself upright, and the woman's back and trunk lie almost horizontally, the direction of the erect penis and vagina do not correspond so that on insertion, the glans touches the posterior wall of the vagina. Deeper penetration is only possible when there is pressure from the man's erect cock against the wall of the vagina. This pressure and friction is somewhat intense, increasing both partners' excitement.

The difference in slope direction between the male organ and the vagina is increased if the woman lowers the upper part of her body - so the maximum divergence occurs when she rests on her knees and elbows (or knees and shoulders); in this attitude, the vagina may even slope slightly downwards.

But, since the lower part of the pubic region here is pressed backwards, the clitoris approaches the male organ and touches its lower surface. In this manner, some stimulation of the clitoris by phallic friction can be achieved.

When the woman kneels (and even more so in the knee-elbow attitude), the uterus droops, so far as its muscular ligaments permit, forwards and with the central portion (the fundus) lowermost. The vagina is stretched, and the cervix (mouth of the womb) is at its most significant distance from the introitus (vaginal orifice). As the passage is dilated, there is an inrush of air into the genital passage by suction, and the posterior wall of the vaginal passage is pressed backwards.

The air fills the whole cylindrical tube of the vagina, the walls distend, and the whole organ becomes - what it never is otherwise - a hollow space surrounded by relatively smooth walls, for the characteristic folds and irregularities are somewhat smoothed out by the pressure of air.

During lovemaking, the rush of air into the vagina has an unfortunate effect, for the distension of the walls and obliteration of folds much diminish the chance of stimulation by mutual friction for both partners. And the piston-like backwards and forwards motion of the phallus may occasionally force some of the air out of the vaginal cavity again, to the accompaniment of amusing fart-like noises (or not so-amusing, depending on your point of view and how up-tight you are about these things).

Rear entry is a prevalent sexual position. It is perhaps the first variation to be tried by couples who want to try a change from the standard method. It's exciting, the man gets a great view of his partner's buttocks, and she can feel like a wanton, sexual woman.

It's also worth remembering that many experts are convinced that regular lovemaking maintains health. At the same time, lots of variations in your sex life - including a variety of exciting techniques and stimulation - can keep a long-term committed relationship faithful, as well as intimate and emotionally connected.

For rear entry sex, the woman kneels on the bed on her hands and knees with her legs apart while the man kneels behind her and puts his penis into her vagina. The couple can quite easily make the necessary adjustments to compensate for differences in height.

In every case, penetration is exceptionally deep. If the vaginal entrance is set back, the depth to which the penis enters the woman is almost equal to that experienced when you have the woman astride the man as he lies on the bed. Though the man will not have the pulling sensations on his penis and frenulum that he gets in the astride lovemaking positions, the woman will certainly have plenty of stretching sensations in her vagina.

There are advantages and disadvantages to this lovemaking position. Though you may be one of the few lucky couples, who happen to make penis-clitoris contact naturally in most other sexual positions, with rear entry, no matter how low-set or prominent the clitoris may be, there can be no such contact.

On the other hand, both your hands will be free, and while the man uses one hand to fondle a breast, the other can stimulate his partner's clitoris. The man can use his lips and tongue to caress the erotic zones of his partner's back.

For the man

Your woman will not be able to caress you anywhere, but rear-entry lovemaking uniquely provides sexual stimulation naturally as you thrust. What happens is that the erotic zone of your lower belly will brush against the sensitive zones of your woman's bottom. When you make rotary movements with your pelvis instead of thrusts, with only light contact between belly and bottom, the contact is more stimulating than when the thrusting movements are vigorous, and your bodies make heavy contact.

This is because your pubic hair and the hairy skin of your belly will brush against your woman's skin and have an exceptionally arousing effect on her - similar to light touches of your lips and tongue. The effect on you will be equally arousing.

There is another unique feature of rear entry sexual positions, which adds to the possibilities for additional stimulation. Owing to the alignment of some of your woman's internal organs - the angle of the vagina, the uterus and the rectum - as you move your penis backward and forward inside her, a little air flows in as you draw back and is forced out again as you push your penis forward.

If your movements are vigorous, this air comes out of the vagina with the sound that would be made if you lightly smacked any body part with the slightly curved palm. As sounds play an essential role in the excitement of lovemaking for most people, this can add much to your sexual arousal.

There are several variations to rear-entry sex. If, for instance, your woman lies face down with her legs apart, you can lie between them, put your penis into her, and lower your chest and body onto her back. You will have to support at least some of your weight on one elbow, leaving only one hand free, which should be used to stimulate her clitoris.

The erotic zones of the nape of her neck and shoulders are proper under your tongue; by arching your back a little, you can bring your lower belly and pubic hair into play; and the parts of your penis shaft that cannot enter the vagina will more likely than not have the added stimulation of being rubbed lightly by the smooth bed sheets under it.

Whether her vaginal entrance is set forward or back, this variation can be adopted. If it is set forward, penetration will not be as deep as when set back. In neither instance will penetration be so deep as when your woman kneels, and you enter her from behind.

A variation of the rear-entry position can also be used when you are lying on your sides, though this entails some adjustment for an effective contact to be made. Your woman, for example, may have to have a pillow under her hips to raise her pubic area to the height of yours; or her vaginal entrance may be set so far forward that for your penis to get even its head inside, she will have to draw her knees upward towards her chest. Your penis is more likely to slip out of her in this position more quickly than in any other lovemaking posture.

Just as good as the woman-kneeling position for lovemaking is the variation in which she stands and leans forward over a table as far as she can go, with cushions under her for comfort. You stand behind her between her parted legs, put your penis into her and remain standing upright while you thrust - you can try to get one hand on her clitoris.

She may have to stand on something to raise her pubic area if you are much taller than she is. And a variation on this is for you to support her legs, which will be stretched out behind her, with your hands.

However, penetration is not so deep, and you cannot attend to her clitoris or provide her with any other stimulation except your pubic hair against her bottom.

Now, you may find that you will have to overcome a woman's prejudice against rear-entry or doggy-style positions. She may feel somewhat degraded by what she sees as the animalistic nature of rear-entry sex.
