What is Kama Sutra?

Kama Sutra is the classic treaty concerning the oriental art of making love. It talks about these 64 forms of Arts. The text insists that they should be thought at the same time as Kama Sutra. It should be made by a competent spiritual guide and not by anyone.

These arts and sciences (because there is no clear distinction between the two) include, among others: music, painting, weaving, reading, poetry, sculpture, gymnastics, games, flower arrangements, cooking, decorating, perfumes, gardening, miming, mental exercises, foreign languages, magic, chemistry, mineralogy, fortune games, architecture, logic, the art of being attractive, religious rituals, physical sports, martial arts.

There are also a few other activities specialized in culture and free time. In a few words, it is what they expected from Victorian women. Nowadays, we can add a few technical innovations like, for example, photography.

The Hindi texts on love suggest that both men and women should be prepared in as many of the 64 arts as possible. That is because of the three main arguments:

The person who is a master of these arts is also significant in society By applying these arts you could obtain what you want in life more easily. A master of these arts can keep up with others in society; even a superficial knowledge of these arts leads to increased interest and attraction of others to that person.

Nowadays, there is a severe problem because people have become specialists in only one direction. That is the tendency to limit their mind's capacity to express intuitively the multitude of knowledge.

The Art of Loving leans on other arts and has them as its support. If these means of expression are lacking, our existence becomes boring and limited. Humanity depends on these arts as a way of communicating and self-communication.

There is no equivalent to Kama Sutra so far, and maybe that is why sexuality in the West still has to grow up. That's because certain social precepts and a feeling of a false sense of decency deprived our contemporaries of a sincere and exuberant exploration of sexuality. All despite the so-called "free attitude" in Western states.

Practically all that the Occident can offer by now is pornography filled with anatomic details and so-called "techniques". They say that they are enough to put the sexual problems aside. One of the results is the inhuman sexual perversity that we will discuss later.

Sexual intercourse is rarely presented adequately in occidental art or literature. Generally, people either take sexuality or put it aside as something that doesn't belong to art or accept it as something mediocre.

Unlike the occident, the Orientals don't look at sexuality as a detachable part or even an opposing part to spirituality. On the contrary, sexual intercourse is seen as something extraordinary about other arts.

For example, in temples, there were presented all types of sexual positions, and they were all worshipped. At home, in intimacy, the whole domain of erotic art and the specific literature were considered a natural case of study, highly respected.

Oriental sexual behaviour goes far beyond the Occidental "normal state" domain. Celibacy, monotony, polygamy and polyandry are well-established places in Oriental culture.

The 64 forms of eroticism must be understood as 64 Ways of the Creative Energies. They are all emanations of the Saraswati Goddess, the "anima" in Jung's psychology.

These arts can be compared to the flames of an inner sun that go and spread in the solar plexus. By burning the lack of science, these flames purify the psychic and transform the individual inside. As practical methods, they charm the ones who love them and perfect the perseverant practitioner.

Sexual Appetite

Two people are like two gods. Two of them? Two of you. Melt in the infinite bliss of eternal love as only thus the impossible changes into a miracle, and all you are easily becomes happiness.

With a sparkling soul, you easily elevate each other until you reach God. Now you may melt within His heart.

ENDLESSLY EXTEND YOUR LEASURE
Usually, a man needs to ejaculate unless he has adequate training, esoterical knowledge about sexual intercourse, and a specific initiation.

It is the impulse of the inferior instincts of the human being. A ventriculus mates these carnal instincts, and consequently, he removes this wish to ejaculate using spiritual action, consciously leading to sublimation.

This spiritual action means to use specific methods (techniques, meditation, rituals, etc) that make man resonate with the sublime energies of the Universe.

Through sexual continence, an alchemic process that includes holding your semen, consciously done by the initiated ones, the primary wish to ejaculate disappears and the aspiration replaces it or the wish to continue the union generated by the transfigurating sexual intercourse.

In this case, the substance is transformed in energy, the raw into subtle, the inferior wishes in sublime aspirations.

Ejaculation is directly related to procreation; thus, tantric use it only when they want to have a baby. Through sexual continence, an opposite, very subtle phenomenon occurs: the energies are directed inside the body and not out, like in the case of ejaculation.

This effervescent accumulation of energies during intercourse inside our being generates the sublime ecstatic states mentioned by the tantric treaties, which could be the study domain of transpersonal sexology.

YOU ARE MORE ALIVE THAN EVER
It is said that the perception of the present moment can set your wish free. In a normal state of consciousness, we perceive the world in a certain way, sometimes without even realizing that we perceive it.

Thus, we could say that we do not "perceive" but dream. The perception as our normal state can be similar to an unconscious state during the state of a dream.

But in pure consciousness, perception becomes a way of living. Being aware of the outside world facilitates our access to pure existence and to its essence, the pure bliss.

In tantrism, sexual intercourse is approached with awareness, transfiguration and continence; the direct perception is the source of pleasure and voluptuousness.

To fully live the perceptions, be aware of them, and perfectly control them is the fundamental tantric key that opens the gate to the alchemic art of sensual, spiritual love.

We only have to learn how to consciously and fully enjoy exotic pleasures and to be aware of their divine nature.

To become one with ourselves throughout the merging with the beloved during intercourse, to consciously live the bliss of love, to reach and enjoy ecstasy, this is in fact the trans personal sexology.

Best Tantra Sex Positions

Sexual variety created artificially comes from reading or hearing, imagining some new sexual positions and techniques, as well as from your desire to have new experiences in according to these fantasies.

No matter what these sexual fantasies are, it is important not to describe them mentally while making them a reality. Thus we would be able to experience new erotic fusion more intensely without the need of a predetermined scenario. Paradoxically a person can get to be a perfectly boring lover, even if he is not impotent.

When we impose something, the inspiration and the spontaneity disappear.

The erotic act is like a genuine act of artistic creation.

The erotic act can become boring even for a refined person because it tries to follow a particular scenario or have a specific image about how it will unfold, no matter how flexible or innovative.

This is why it eventually degenerates into a perished and tiresome film or, on the contrary, a grim, not inspired search for novelty.

The endless search of novelty in the erotic fusion gets to an endless hunt for something newer, sexier, for positions or attitudes that are worth trying and also for new partners. Thus we talk about a "decadent", quantitative approach of love. When the erotic act has a map, an aim, so to speak, it becomes predictable and non-creative, even if you make all of your plans come true. Many erotic relationships are initially explosive, fascinating and charming, but they strike out as time passes.

For many couples, their first erotic experiences are the most exciting because of the person's novelty, the body they have never touched before, and all new sensations and reactions that are making them forget to think. Thus the genuine, total erotic experience appears so close to eternity.

Yet the moment the novelty disappears and you do things out of habit, your mind starts wandering. Specific disturbing thoughts appear and hinder any attempt to experience the present moment completely. And thus, the experience becomes boring as nothing makes any sense anymore. The couple keeps on living out of habit, but their erotic experiences are absent.

In many of these cases, the man or the woman will continue having a normal sexual response. They already know each other's bodies and needs and the most efficient ways of producing an orgasm, and they will act that way. They will be able to have an orgasm, though in reality are way so far from a genuine erotic experience and they will continue to go apart from each other.

We can call this situation a "masturbation" in two. More than that, making love while having several interior commentaries can lead to unpleasant situations. For example, if the two see the erotic experience differently, one seeking for an immediate explosive orgasm and the other looking to savour a contemplative amorous state, it can only get to the disappearance of their desire for making love, yet this could happen only unconsciously. They break up eventually but do not really know why.

This change of attitude is valid for usual people and some concluded wrongly that the erotic emotion leaves a couple after a while. This is not necessarily true and we will see that in what follows. For an aware and wise couple, there is no reason for them to diminish the intensity and the quality of their erotic and sexual experiences.

In case those feelings had gone away, there's the possibility of getting them back: they can be regenerated and even amplified. The reason why a couple loses that genuine erotic experience is not the time that the two of them have spent together nor the intimacy. When a couple that was sometimes happy one finds out that the ardent part of their erotic lives is gone, then we can talk about a real problem that is brought into discussion.

In such cases, the two should think about the wonderful feelings they had at the beginning or any other harmonious feelings during the erotic act. That is what tradition, both Oriental and Occidental, teaches us to create the premises of a mystical union and to determine the appearance of a superior conscience state.

Freud, erotic specialists Dr. Kinsey or Masters and Johnson, all of them for different reasons, named orgasm as the ultimate aim of an erotic call. They also talked about the intense pleasure it generates. Yet, in the mystical sexuality, we approach a new superior state of conscience, born from warm and happy intimacy, where there is no rush, a complete opening to the person that you love, where there is no end and also no aim in the usual meaning of the word.
